I’m Anya, strength coach and hiking enthusiast
Welcome to my corner of the fitness world! I'm Anya Muradian, and I'm passionate about getting people strong and resilient, and exceeding their own expectations.
My path to becoming a fitness coach has been an evolution, driven by a deep commitment to helping others achieve their exercise and physical goals. It all began when I was living in LA, working in the music industry, and knew I needed a career change. I started teaching yoga, which I enjoyed, but really found my stride after branching out into personal training. Those early experiences ignited a spark within me that drove me to seek more knowledge.
Driven by this passion, I made the decision to further my education by attending physical therapist assistant school. Since my licensure, the past five years I've immersed myself in the fields of physical therapy and strength and conditioning, gaining invaluable insights into behavior change, exercise and rehab science, and gained the opportunity to work with people from just about every walk of life, helping them return to a wide variety of sports and activities.
In the last few years I began training and competing in powerlifting, and it has been an eye-opening experience to compete in a sport and learn how to program a different style of lifting, with help from Clinical Athlete’s powerlifting certification. I’m also an avid and voracious hiker, I’ll hike just about anywhere and anything, as being in nature is an incredible calming force and mental reset for me. Having athletic pursuits of my own has offered a new perspective to how I’ve approached rehab and training for myself and my clients.
My mission is simple: to make exercise less complicated and more approachable for everyone. These days, there’s no shortage of fitness information, and it can be extremely hard to figure out what’s best for you. I aim to combat misinformation and simplify the warring narratives you’ve heard about health and fitness. I'm dedicated to creating a supportive environment where individuals can thrive. There's no such thing as an “all or nothing” mentality here, I go by the motto “Something is always better than nothing!”
No matter if you've struggled with pain or injury, reminisce about your days as an athlete, hate exercise and want to do the bare minimum, aspire to prioritize your health for yourself and your loved ones, or seek tailored training to enhance your performance in sports or hobbies, rest assured there is a program perfectly suited to your needs and aspirations.
I got you! Let’s gooooooo!
